Last month our fantastic students performed Mary Poppins over a 3 day period.
The story has several really positive messages about treating others kindly, not judging people, reaching beyond the stars and putting family ahead of work.
It was a wonderful performance and the quality of the acting, singing and dancing was exceptional. Over 60 students and members of staff were involved either in performing, designing or building the set, or in technical support roles. Many of those involved were students who grew massively in confidence during rehearsals. This is the power of the performing arts and why it plays such a key role in the lives of young people. We would like to thank all those involved but especially Mrs Hurrell who directed the entire show and really did go above and beyond to support and encourage everyone.
